The Lewes African American Heritage Commission was appointed by Mayor & City Council at their January 13, 2020 meeting.

MEETINGS

The commission meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm in Council Chambers at City Hall.

Juneteenth Event

Stay tuned for the date of the 2024 Annual Juneteenth Event. The event is held at George HP Smith park, located at the corner of Johnson Avenue & Dupont Avenue.
